    This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Manufacturing Intern.

     

    The primary objective of this role is to assist the Manufacturing Operations team by providing hands-on support on our production floor as well as assisting our Manufacturing Quality Engineer with projects. This role with directly support and interface with Terso’s Manufacturing Technicians, Logistic Specialists and Manufacturing Quality Engineer.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    • Assist Manufacturing Technicians and Logistics Specialist with daily hands on production including:
      • Assembling products
      • Packaging units
      • Receiving product onto the shelf
      • Cycle Counts
      • Data entry

    • Assist the Manufacturing Quality Engineer with ongoing projects including:
      • Manufacturing process documentation
      • Production route analysis including efficient process development and time studies
      • Evaluating tool usage and workspace organization on the production floor

    • Assist the Production Supervisor with ongoing projects including:
      • Manufacturing process documentation
      • Updating processes and information in our ERP system

    • Assist the Director of Manufacturing on projects including:
      • Researching new technologies that could be used for global training
      • Researching and developing a document control center for training documents


    MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Be currently enrolled in an accredited university, seeking a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Be fluent in the use of Microsoft Windows operating system(s) and Microsoft Office suite applications.

    • The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in the field of manufacturing or manufacturing engineering

    • The ability to work within a busy team and corporate environment in a professional manner.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Ability to work in a production environment

    • Ability to stand for 8 hours

    • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
